Remember When I Used To Post Everyday?

HEY EVERYONE! Remember me?

Pesach was nice. Long and nice. Not too much going on. I am in Baltimore now seeing lots of people then heading back to NY tonight. Going back to school tomorrow. I am already looking forward to the weekend. I am so behind in school and now it's cram time. I can't do it anymore. OUT WITH ME! Yes, I can command that to myself. I have so much to figure out and no time to do it in.

ANYWAY, I hope you have all been doing well and continue to do well and I will try to post again before I'm 40.

Remember Me?

It's been a while. This must be a record for me.

Everything is starting to fall into place. Work to catch up on, graduation coming up. But, I'm only pretending to graduate. I still have to take more classes, but I hope to work part time while I finish up. We shall see.

Life is good right now. Very good. This weekend I'm going to a mini-Shabbaton in Connecticut. I'm excited to see my kids again. I miss them.

The end.

MAZEL TOV!!!!!!

Mazel tov to my Princess Perica and Prince Padam (yes, that means my princess is engaged)! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!

I am having an awesome weekend. I'm in Baltimore with NCSY kids and we're going to PARTY IT UP! A bunch of kids are coming in from out of town and it's going to be awesome.

I start third grade in Ramaz next week. I am excited, and I can't wait to visit my kids! Stern is eh. A teacher wants to meet with me about my absences. I am just too tired. Oh, man. Whatever. I'll cry. That will make it more fun.

Alright, I hope everyone has a great Shabbos and a wonderful Purim.

Peek-a-Boo!

So I am here again. Just checking in.

Today I gave my second lesson for Mr. K. to observe. The very beginning was great, the middle was eh and the end was good. One of his criticisms was that I shouldn't show emotion on my face. He said he knew I was upset about how the lesson was going. DUH. It was Crazy Hat Day and I gave a lesson on descriptive writing. When I wrote the lesson plan, I had thought that the kids had prior knowledge that they did not have. It's alright.

Next Wednesday is the last day of the placement. That is going to be a really hard day. Mr. K. did not make it seem like he was going to let me stay. At this point I just hope that he lets me stay in Ramaz.

In other news, I am still stressing about graduation and getting everything done before I'm 40. I'll keep you posted on that.

I need to get to bed soon. I am overtiring myself.

I need Shabbos.

I hope you are all doing well!

It's Been A While

I know some of you may be disappointed in my lack of blogging, but I have been enjoying my student teaching and I don't have too much to blog about...

Here's a small update...since you've all been wondering.

Winter Regional was AWESOME! Amy and I had a great time...right, Amy?

I am really really happy with how things are going. Really happy.

Shabbos is going to be awesome. Saturday night is going to be awesome. Sunday morning is Brooke and Marty's wedding. Next Shabbos is going to be an awesome experience as will be the next one. I know I am being all mysterious, but the time will come that I will share more information. If you're that curious, feel free to call me.

ANYWAY, I have to get back to my seminar class (it's a 2.5 hour class once a week....uch) then I am off to student teaching for the rest of the afternoon and I am giving a model lesson in front of my college professor! I AM SO EXCITED!

I hope you are all doing well.

La La La

Everything is still fine, B"H. I spent Shabbos with the nephoos and I won't be seeing them again before they leave. It was hard to say goodbye.

Not only that, but when I got back to the city, I was stopped by an Israeli girl in the mall who pretty much said, "I see that you need a miracle to happen to your skin." She sat me down, started putting makeup on me talked to me in Hebrew about how amazing the makeup is and that she will give a special discount. Yes, I bought it. The discount wasn't that special, but whatever. Then I got a haircut. Not because I already had makeup on, but because I had wanted one for a while. I actually like it. I've been on a pretty good liking-my-haircuts streak.

This weekend is Winter Regional. This week better go by real fast. Then the weekend after that, I get to see DJ!!!!!! I can't wait! :)

Have a great day!

Still Loving It

I am still in love with my student teaching placement. Not to worry! :)

Today we have our weekly 2.5 hour seminar here at Stern. What in the world will the head of the department do with us for so long? It is extra annoying today because the 1st-4th grade at Ramaz has their annual Zimiriah (performance) today. I have been watching rehearsals since I started my placement and I really wanted to see the real thing! Oh, well. Disappointments of life.

I am spending Shabbos with my nephoos at my brother-in-law's parents' house! I AM SO EXCITED!

I hope everyone is doing well.
